Update​ 26/06/2019


I played around with Pygame's rects to make hit boxes and improve collisions. It was mostly to make the melee combat a bit better, although it still needs improvement. The major things about this update are the sound effects. I recorded some custom sounds in audacity (no editing). The rest were taken from openart.

Sounds recorded:

  • Tree chopping sound effect
  • Picking up rocks (which will later be used for mining rocks)
  • Fire sound effect when cooking steak

Wolf AI:

  • Walks to player once attacked
  • Attacks player (only does 1 damage per hit right now)
  • Wolf doesn't always properly face in the direction of the player
